Wales’ Mark Williams will be hoping to continue his solid run of form when he takes on Ricky Walden in Bangkok at the SangSom Six Red World Championship.
Williams, who won the World Championship in April, has impressed in recent weeks on the professional circuit.
The 43-year-old won the World Open at the start of last month and he has also started well in Thailand. He beat Thepchaiya Un-Nooh in his first round match before then overcoming Tom Ford 5-4. He is now 1.44 to beat Walden, with the Englishman 2.50 to pull off an upset.
Walden has struggled for momentum so far this season but he showed glimpses of his potential at the World Open and Riga Masters.
Un-Nooh is back in action against Ford as the pair try to move into the next round. The home favourite is 1.85 to win, while Ford is priced at the same odds with Dafabet.
Ford started the tournament with a win over Walden and he is 6.50 to record a 5-2 win.
Fellow Thai Nutcharut Wongharuthai is also back on the table and he faces a stern test on Wednesday afternoon.
China’s Luo Honghao is his opponent and the latter is 1.18 to win, suggesting a comfortable victory is on the cards.
The final game of the day sees Wales’ Ryan Day do battle with Scotland’s Stephen Maguire.
Day beat Honghao and Wongharuthai earlier this week, while Maguire was also successful against the same pair. Day is the slight outsider at 1.95, while Maguire is priced at 1.80 to get the win.
