Barry Hawkins is through to the semi-finals of the 2017 World Championship after completing a 13-9 victory over Stephen Maguire.

The man known as The Hawk booked his place in the semi finals for the fourth time in five years, and will face John Higgins for a place in the final.

Hawkins who led 9-7 following the earlier drama filled of their afternoon session was pegged back to 9-9 by an inspired Stephen Maguire but an outrageous fluke by Hawkins in frame 19 led to him making a century and completely changing the momentum of the match.
