Ronnie O’Sullivan fought back from two frames down to take a 5-3 lead in the Tour Championship final against Neil Robertson.

O’Sullivan is 1.22 to win the Tour Championship final and Robertson can be backed at 4.00.

O’Sullivan will replace Mark Selby as world number one if he manages to take the title in Llandudno.

The Rocket, 43, is bidding to move to the top of the rankings for the first time in nine years, and become the oldest world number one in 36 years.

Australian Robertson won the first two frames but O’Sullivan fired back to win five in a row, with a 97 break in the fourth the highlight, but Robertson took the final frame to ensure the final is finely poised going into Sunday’s play.

Robertson has won two titles this season, the Riga Masters and Welsh Open, but has struggled against O’Sullivan of late and hasn’t managed to win any of their three most recent meetings.

Robertson is 2.50 to win with a +2.5 frame handicap, 2.10 to win frame 9 and 2.50 to hit the highest break.

O’Sullivan is 10.00 to win 13-5 or 15.00 to win 13-4. O’Sulllivan is 1.30 to hit a highest break of over 110 points or 3.25 for his highest break to be between 90 and 110 points inclusive.
