World number one Mark Selby and beaten finalist Barry Hawkins are amongst those going again in Group 4 of the Championship League in Coventry on Wednesday.
Selby and Hawkins will be squaring off for the third time this week when they clash in the round robin stage.
The pair met on Monday in Group 3, with Hawkins running out a convincing 3-0 winner as he bagged back-to-back breaks of 120 to leave the ‘Jester from Leicester’ flummoxed.
Another clash loomed in the semi-finals and it was a high-quality affair as Hawkins compiled breaks 105, 86 and 59 in a 3-2 win, with Selby hitting a 97 of his own to draw level at 1-1.
‘The Hawk’ was swept aside by an in-form Judd Trump in the final, going down 3-0 in a little over 40 minutes on the table.
The duo will be joined in Group 4 by Ryan Day, Ali Carter, Graeme Dott, Luca Brecel and Stuart Bingham, with another spot in the Winners’ Group in March on the line.
Trump’s win on Tuesday ensured he joined Neil Robertson and Jack Lisowski in the Winners’ Group, which takes place at Barnsley Metrodome on March 13 and 14.
Both Hawkins and Selby will take on former Crucible champion Bingham on day one of Group 4.
Selby is 1.67 favourite to beat Bingham, while Hawkins is 1.80 to get the better of the 2016 world champion.
Hawkins meanwhile will attempt to kick-start his bid for group success by defeating the world number one for the third time this week in Coventry.
