Former world champs meet in Belgium
Share:

Stuart Bingham and Graeme Dott clash on Wednesday in the European Masters as two former world champions face off. Dott can be an incredibly tough and frustrating player to face but Bingham seems to have worked the Scottish veteran’s game out.

Bingham leads the head-to-head 6-2 and has won the last five meetings between the two, with Dott’s last victory coming back in 2013 – and both of his wins have come with deciding frames. However, Bingham has struggled for form so far this season and went out of his first three ranking tournaments in the first round. The 41-year-old is yet to progress beyond the third round in any event, while Dott has contested three ranking events and also boasts a third round appearance as his best result so far.

Thus could be quite a scrappy match but Bingham’s recent dominance over Dott suggests he should be able to come out on top. Dott is 2.80 to claim the win, Bingham can be backed at 17/20 with a -1.5 frames handicap. The 2015 world champion is 10/3 to win 4-1 or 3/1 to win 4-2.
